Kitchen Remodeling in Anaheim, With Cabinets Built in Our Own Shop

4.9 from 57 Google reviews

APlus is a two-generation family business that designs your kitchen, builds every cabinet in its Anaheim factory and installs it with its own team. Owner Alex Tabrizi is both a general contractor and a certified designer.

From a family garage to an Anaheim cabinet factory

APlus handles kitchen remodeling in Anaheim and across Orange County as a design-build firm, with design, construction and cabinet making under one roof. Every cabinet is built in the company's own facility on East La Palma Avenue, so sizes, finishes and inside storage are made for your room, not picked from a catalog.

The business started when Abraham Tabrizi built cabinets in his garage while his young son Alex handed him tools. It grew into an Irvine workshop and then the Anaheim factory, and Alex now runs it.

Google reviewers single out cabinet quality, and one client says cabinets bought 13 years ago still please them today.

Kitchen Remodels

Full design-build kitchens, from space planning and material selection to demo, plumbing, electrical and install. The designer studies how you cook and gather, then plans the layout, colors and cabinetry around it. A detailed 3D rendering is approved before anything goes into production.

Custom Cabinetry

Kitchen, bath, closet and entertainment center cabinets are engineered and built in the Anaheim factory. Keeping production in-house lets the team control quality from start to finish and offer custom pieces for less than outside shops charge, according to the company.

Bathroom Remodels

Bathrooms planned for the space you have, with custom vanities and storage made in the same shop as the kitchens. The design expert works through layout and materials with you and provides 3D renderings, then the construction team builds it to plan.

Complete Home Remodels

Whole-house projects that tie kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment centers, living spaces, closets and additions into one design and one schedule. A San Clemente client had APlus rebuild the kitchen, baths, entertainment center and built-ins in a single project.

Cabinets that last

Cabinet quality is the most-tagged topic in APlus's Google reviews. A Laguna Hills client says the custom cabinets are built with old-world craftsmanship and have held up amazingly.

Most work comes by referral

More than half of APlus projects come from referrals, and the company reports that over 98 percent of clients interviewed said they would recommend it to friends and family.

Meet Alex Tabrizi, second-generation owner

Alex Tabrizi grew up in the business. His father, Abraham, started APlus in an Orange County garage building cabinets, moved it to a small Irvine workshop and later to the Anaheim factory.

Alex joined the family company more than 25 years ago and now leads it as a general contractor and certified designer. That dual role lets him plan a kitchen that looks right and builds right.

His team includes designers, project managers, plumbers, electricians, cabinet engineers and other trades as needed, all working from the La Palma Avenue facility.

Questions about remodeling with APlus

Do you really build your own cabinets?

Yes. All APlus cabinetry is custom built in the company's facility in Anaheim, California. That covers kitchens, bathroom vanities, closets and entertainment centers. You can see the shop during your showroom meeting, and a long-time client notes the cabinets are custom made in their own shop rather than modular units.

How does the consultation work?

It is a two-step process. First, someone visits your home to measure and photograph the space. Next, you meet the designer and lead contractor at the Anaheim showroom and factory to talk about goals, space planning and design ideas. The in-home consultation is complimentary.

Do I need to hire my own designer?

No. Owner Alex Tabrizi is a certified designer as well as a general contractor, and the team includes designers who handle space planning and material selection. You approve a detailed 3D rendering before your cabinets go into production, so the design and the build come from the same company.

Who manages the job once work starts?

A project manager is assigned when your cabinets go into production and leads the job from demolition to completion. Plumbing, electrical, engineering and installation are handled by the APlus team and its specialty trades, so you are not coordinating separate contractors yourself.

Do you work in my part of Orange County?

APlus lists more than 30 Orange County communities, from Anaheim, Brea and Fullerton in the north to Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita and San Clemente in the south. Recent portfolio projects include Santa Ana, Newport Coast, Coto de Caza, San Juan Capistrano and Dana Point.
